Hi :) My name’s Hanaé, I’m a UAL graduate, writer/director & designer. I also fancy calling myself an artistic ‘Swiss Army Knife’. I enjoy working on both commercial and personal projects that know no creative boundaries and provide them with a personal, colourful, and poetic flair.
I’m currently on the festival circuit for my directorial debut, a short entitled ‘At Last‘.

The Making of the Animation Sequence
Here are a few tests that led me to the final outcome:

Somewhere by the end of 2023, I sketched a girl glancing over her shoulder, with an elf hovering just above her head. Beneath her, I wrote the name Aubrey. From there on, a screenplay began to take shape, at once a way to reconnect with my heritage and to turn frustration into creation. Tired of waiting for the green light that never came, I set the machine in motion, dreaming and materializing a project that would bring all my passions together: design, animation, storytelling, and live action. By April 2024, I shot my first short film, At Last. In 2025, the short was complete, joined by a companion piece, a zine of illustration, design, and text, carrying further the themes first sparked in At Last.
Synopsis
You can’t relive the past, but you can always rewrite it. Under that premise, a woman revisits a pivotal moment in her life to alter it, only to discover that destiny cannot be escaped, only bent for a few fleeting seconds.
